ImageIn comparison to the traditional cameras, the cameras in the present times have made capturing images an easy task. But still, you can always improve on your techniques for better results. Below are some tips using which you can transform your picture from presentable to great.

1. The background used while clicking an image is quite important. If you click a picture with a tree in the background popping out of the subjects head or a moving vehicle nearby, it might spoil the affect of the picture as these objects will be prominent in the picture, so make sure that the subject stands on the side either ways of such objects.

2.  In case the daylight or any external source of lighting is available, switching off the flash and taking the picture is suggested. In case you shoot the picture inside the house, try to place the subject near the window or any other form of natural light, as the affects of the flash present a pale look to the subject.

3. The camera should be aimed downwards towards the individual’s face. Clicking the picture around 3/4th view of the ace instead of front view is highly recommended for better quality and also it would make the subject look slimmer.

4. Focus properly and take the picture from as close as possible. The frame of the camera should be occupied with the subject leaving no space for any other factor to influence the image.

5. The subject should not be placed right in the centre, but slightly away from the center. In case you are shooting a group of people, try to put off the imaginary centre line away from the centre through the screen or lens.

If you follow these tips, they might not turn you into a great photographer but will surely enhance your picture quality, making it look better and far better than just a careless picture clicked without considering any affects.
